On April 23, 2013 the Michael Vincent Sage Dragonheart Foundation donated its first AED to Shepaug Valley High School in Washington, Connecticut. Shepaug Valley High School is a large regional school serving middle school and high school students from four Connecticut towns. The school has a robust athletic program and, therefore, requested an AED for use at “away” games. A ceremony was held at the school in the presence of students and teachers where Board members, Azadeh Rezvani, Lauren Rossi and Russell Sage spoke and presented the AED.
On May 8, 2013, the Foundation presented its second AED to Northwestern Region District #7 School in Winsted, Connecticut. This school serves students grades 7 through 12 and serves over 1,000 students daily.
If you know of an organization in need of an AED, please spread the word about the Michael Vincent Sage Dragonheart Foundation and help save a life!
